I am an academic who specialises in phenomenological research. That is, I research the lived experiences of various events in our lives.
As I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist for many years within health settings, most of my phenomenological research focuses on the experiences of health and illness. My academic publications can be seen on my academic page.
In recent years I have become more interested in researching wellbeing and intense positive experiences. There is something so powerful in the experience of a Total Solar Eclipse that we can learn much about human motivation and experience.
I plan to do ongoing research in this area and write a series of books about the psychology of the eclipse and eclipse chasers. You can check out my books on this section.
